Avondale offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, focusing on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, at school and throughout life. All DCSD families are invited as DCSD celebrates a new school year with a Back to School Rally on July 27, 9am-1pm at AIC 1701 Mountain Industrial Blvd. in Stone Mountain. (NOTE NEW LOCATION). We are ready to level up and take education to higher heights. New and returning families are welcome!

The Avondale Elementary School Foundation is thrilled to announce The Roadrunner Rally 5K and The Breit Mile fun run, happening on Saturday, September 28th, 2024! This USA Track and Field certified 5K event offers a fantastic opportunity for participants to qualify for Atlanta's renowned Peachtree Road Race and other prestigious races.
