The Avondale Elementary School Foundation is thrilled to announce The Roadrunner Rally 5K and The Breit Mile fun run, happening on Saturday, September 28th, 2024! This USA Track and Field certified 5K event offers a fantastic opportunity for participants to qualify for Atlanta's renowned Peachtree Road Race and other prestigious races. DeKalb County School District is thrilled to announce the launch of elementary athletics in the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year! We will offer Track and field, Soccer, Competitive Dance, Basketball, and Flag Football to all 4th and 5th graders. Registration closes on June 30, 2024.

Meet up with fellow AES families for our Family Outdoor Movie Night to see the fun movie “Migration.” Come at 7pm to secure your spot and to enjoy family friendly music from the DJ prior to the movie showing. Movie starts at 8pm.

The final AES Foundation fundraiser for the 23-24 school year started April 19 and closes on Friday, May 3rd at 5:00 pm. You can buy tickets for one of these prizes or for all 5 of these prizes! Winners will be announced on Monday, May 6. Help us reach our fundraising goal of raising $5,000 to end the year strong!
