AES is STEM Certified!

Avondale Elementary faculty, staff and stakeholders are pleased to announce the school's certification as a STEM education provider.

STEM curriculum offers instruction in four disciplines — Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics — in an integrated, interdisciplinary approach. STEM fields of study align with real-world college, technical training and career tracks, facilitating in-demand, innovating, rewarding and lucrative employment opportunities.

Avondale's evaluation was conducted by Cognia™, a regional organization of educators established to rigorously assess STEM service providers for quality and commitment to STEM exploration and application, and award accreditation to institutions meeting satisfactory qualifications.
