AES Read-A-Thon Fundraiser
AES Read-A-Thon will be February 26-March 8! This Read-A-Thon is a great opportunity to raise funds for the Avondale Elementary School Education Foundation while also encouraging students to read! Read-a-thons get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.
About one week before our Read-a-thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader’s personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress. We encourage you to go ahead and activate your reader’s account today and following the simple instructions. Click the link or scan the QR code.
We’ve chosen Read-a-thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills. We invite EVERYONE to participate!

- 3RD Place – $75 Gift Card
With a minimum of $500 in sales for 1st, $400 for 2nd, and $300 for 3rd.
Grade Level Prizes:
- PK-2nd, class who raises the most money wins a Flat Stanley book series*
- 3rd-5th, class who raises the most money wins a Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series*
- Pizza party for the class who READS THE MOST MINUTES (one class PK-2nd, one class 3-5)
