Congratulations to our Artist Scholars

Congratulations to seven AES students (Diva S., Emma B., Malani S., Cameron H., Isabel R., Damina W., and Dreama W.) who participated in the 4th Annual Black History Month Youth Art Contest hosted by the Avondale Alliance for Racial Justice.  

The awards ceremony was held on Saturday, March 23 at the Avondale Arts Alliance Gallery. Two AES students were awarded: Malani S.*- 2nd place (Elementary age group 5-9) and Isabel R.(the AARJ Pick for the Elementary & Middle age group 10+).

A big thanks to Ms. Islam, AES Art Teacher, for all of her support and encouragement. Way to go Roadrunners!
