We are thrilled to announce that this year's event was nothing short of a spectacular success. The AES BREIT RUN raised over $17,000! These funds were a result of the remarkable support and dedication of an incredible community. We achieved a collective triumph in our mission with a total of 73 5K and 122 Fun Run registrants, 26 business and local sponsors, and the heartfelt contributions from numerous donors.

Congratulations to our Roadrunner family on being recognized by Georgia's State School Superintendent Richard Woods as a Literacy Leader in a ceremony hosted at the Avondale Elementary School (AES) on September 15, 2023. Along with nine other DeKalb County School District schools, AES was awarded for being a top school in the state based on the 2022-23 third-grade ELA Georgia Milestones scores.
