This week we're celebrating Read Across America Week! AES is making reading fun so join in and wear a jogging suit  Monday, fashion your craziest socks on Tuesday, don a stylish hat on Wednesday and Thursday show off your favorite team…

Reminder:: there is no school for students on Friday, March 8. It is an independent learner day and professional development day for teachers.

The AES Read-A-Thon is a great opportunity to raise funds for the Avondale Elementary School Education Foundation while also encouraging students to read! Read-a-thons get your reader excited about reading and gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.

Join us for the Avondale Elementary School Black History Month Program "Be Intentional" on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 6:00 PM in the AES Cafeteria.

The Georgia Parent Survey was developed to measure parent perceptions of school climate at your child’s school. Your survey responses are confidential and will be combined with the survey responses of other parents at your child’s school to identify areas in need of improvement. Deadline is March 1st.
