Drop your student off and join Dr. Andrews, members of your AES Principal Advisory Council, and other parents and caregivers for a casual coffee conversation!

Join us for a night of fun and fellowship with your fellow Avondale Elementary parents/caregivers on Friday, September 8, 6:00-9:00 PM at Comet Pub & Lanes. This is an ADULT ONLY event. Please arrange for your own childcare. We have coordinated with DeKalb Parks & Recreation to offer a 'parents night out' service at Hamilton Rec Center. Limited space is available.

Principal Advisory Council (PAC) nominations are being accepted now through August 25th for all DCSD schools. AES parents/guardians, we need you! Our PAC has 2 slots opening up this year. PAC brings parents, school staff, students, and community members together to share ideas for promoting student achievement and wellbeing.

We are so excited to welcome you back to school! We know that this year is going to be a great one, and we are grateful for your continued support of Avondale Elementary. Read the latest AES news and be sure you're signed up to receive these emails.

Support AES by grabbing dinner at Skip’s Spirit Night, meet other Roadrunner families, learn more information about AES. Join us at the Town Green Pavilion; we will be passing out free popsicles for dessert!

Donate your used uniforms in the bin by the backdoor of 8 Clarendon. Items will be for sale at $1 per item during Open House on August 2!
