The September All Pro Dad Meeting has been POSTPONED and rescheduled for October 27. We apologize for the inconvenience. All AES dads are welcome. Please make plans to attend future dates.

Roadrunner spirit was certainly on display at our annual dine out and welcome back to school fundraiser at Skip’s Chicago Dogs and the Town Green on August 12!

Join us in congratulating the Avondale Elementary School rock stars! These teachers are recognized for their excellence in serving students and our school!

Join us for AES Curriculum Night on August 28. Come for the Attendance Meeting at 5:30 and Curriculum Night begins at 6:00 p.m. Learn more about educational platforms, schedules, classroom procedures and protocols, Class Dojo and Parent Portal, and grade level’s POI – Programme of Inquiry (IB).

We’re excited to announce our first Board Meeting of the year! As we gear up for another year of supporting our students, staff, and school community, this meeting will set the tone for our goals, events, and initiatives ahead. All are welcome—your voice and support make a difference!

Fourth and fifth grade students interested in cross country or track have the opportunity to register to participate. The season begins August 18 through October 4.

We wish our students and staff a restful and safe summer break. Students summer break begins on Friday, May 30! And mark your calendar for the first day back to school - August 4!
